Artist Statement:

My approach to design relies on the interplay between the material and the process.

As I texture, pattern and fold metal to create surface interest, I become aware of possibilities.

Shapes – organic, architectural - emerge, often contrasting sharply with the softer finishes.

This combination of shape and texture creates an unexpected tactile quality.

My artistic satisfaction lies in capturing these often contradictory relationships.
